Lib Dems demand better recreation spaces for older children living in Old Coulsdon.
Gill Hickson, Lib Dem council candidate for Old Coulsdon and vice-chair of East Coulsdon Residents’ Association, is calling for the Tollers Estate’s grass playcourt to be paved and provided with nets and goalposts.
“With lots of green space on our doorstep it is essential to add infrastructure to our parks to encourage and entertain young people,” said Gill, noting that ‘play for older children’ topped the list of residents concerns in a recent survey.
