Liberal Democrats know that strong local neighbourhoods are the key to our economic recovery across London and in Croydon.
Businesses have been hit hard by the today vowed to put impact of Covid-19. But London is resilient and will bounce back stronger and better than ever with the right ideas. That’s why we want to reinvent the high street.
By introducing shared working spaces and more community spaces indoors and outside, we can encourage people to spend more time in their local area supporting local businesses.
Croydon Council, TfL and the London Mayor need to work with business, BIDs and local people to ensure our town centres and shopping parades are both accessible and desirable.
Let’s make sure we offer people of all ages places to meet, to engage in community activities, to work and network with other businesses, and to access health and education services.
