Interested in becoming a candidate / shaping our 2018 campaign?

Are you interested in standing in the May 2018 Croydon Council elections? Have you got views on what the Council in Croydon is doing or what the local strategy of the Liberal Democrats should be? Then now is the time to get involved!

Next May sees Croydon Council elections and we are holding a meeting to discuss the elections. What should we be campaigning on? What approach should we take? Are there members among us who are interested in standing for election and giving Croydon residents a strong, liberal voice in this election?

You'll no doubt have noticed that we have been undertaking more campaigning locally of late - fuelled in no small part by a surge in membership and activists locally. We are out campaigning in the South Norwood by-election with our excellent candidate Claire Bonham, and taking the opportunity to try out new campaigning ideas and a targeted campaign strategy.

We have the resources to run a good campaign in 2018 - come and have your say and be a part of it.

To help us we will be joined by some of our Sutton Councillors who will tell us how they got elected and suggest what needs to be done to run a successful local campaign.
