Croydon's pothole problem

Fix Croydon's potholes - petition

Croydon Lib Dems are calling for more funding to fix potholes on local roads.

The Conservative Government recently announced an additional £200m for local councils to tackle the country's worsening pothole pandemic, but none of this funding has been allocated to Croydon or any other London authority.

This comes as a report found that there is a massive £1.59 billion backlog in highway maintenance in London.

Croydon Liberal Democrats have therefore launched a petition calling on the Government to reverse this decision and give Croydon the funds it needs to make roads safer for motor vehicles, bikes and pedestrians.
